One if its unique features is that it is corrosion resistant to chemicals found in water and gas. It has high strength equivalent to stainless steel. It also has good machinability, excellent hot forgeability, easily accepts solder and brazing, and has excellent polishing and plating capabilities. C69300 Lead-Free Brass is compliant with the Federal Drinking Water Act, and it also support applications following the U.S. EPA standards for antimicrobial performance.
