Application

Aluminium tubing is a type of non-ferrous metal tubing, which is pure aluminium or aluminium alloy extruded and processed into longitudinal lengths of hollow metal tubular material. It is a high strength duralumin that can be strengthened by heat treatment. Its plasticity is medium in the annealed, hard hardened and hot state and it has good weldability when spot welded.
In gas and argon arc welding, aluminium tubes have a tendency to form intergranular cracks.
The machinability of aluminium tubes is good in the quenched and cold quenched state, but not in the annealed state. Corrosion resistance
